Totally awesome! Brave rangers with the kids they raised. These gorillas have had so much human exposure that they are imitating their human friends. Their rescuers have done a great job though in bringing them up, that one on the left, looks like a middle-aged man! Keep up the good work! I have so much respect for these people who care for and care about these endangered animals. Such important and dangerous work.Tremendous respect for the rescuers who dedicate themselves to the cause despite the dangers. Hope more can be done to protect rangers and the work they do.An iconic image… it’s intriguing, it’s mysterious, it makes you wonder. You think about it.
I was quite impressed years ago when I took a photography class and was working on a project taking pictures of animals and some would actually pose for me. I also love the video of a gorilla sitting by a window where a young woman is showing him pictures on her phone.
The gorilla keeps making a swiping movement so the girl will show him the next picture. It’s wonderful to watch. There is also a fantastic picture of the gorilla named Michael, who was a companion for Koko. There is an incredible intensity about his picture.
