Bless the Farmer one of the few who feeds the many shirt kindness & humanity of this man! Two qualities we seem to be increasingly losing sight of these days! What will become of the planet when we have finished nitpicking it to death, whinging about each other when in fact we are all the same! Half the time Americans today aren’t physically AND mentally capable of doing these jobs. Hand & eye coordination are inadequate, reflexes inadequate, physical endurance inadequate, etc. I grew up with fieldwork & field workers (running crews); I frequently don’t have the capability to respond to low-level changes in product & to adjust input. However, you should be helping them get citizenship in our country. It would be a great service. They would benefit from being an American citizen. I did fieldwork as a teen. We lived close to several farms and just had to catch the bus. Most have to move behind the crops, getting there when it’s ripe, pick it and move on.

Most people aren’t that good at it and having to Farmer one of the few who feeds the many shirt give up home and move in a little while too hot or cold, wet if it rains, miserable with stoop labor isn’t worth it. Anyone who wants freedom and is still willing to work hard should come to America. We should never discriminate. This is what this country is founded on. Let them work and let freedom ring. I disagree. These individuals are taking jobs citizens think are beneath them and wouldn’t do.

They keep our economy and food supply going because they’re doing the work others choose not to. Some of these people commenting are delusional. I worked one summer recently on an organic farm. The owner was constantly trying to hire people and he paid well above minimum wage. We all need to appreciate these hard workers who help put food on our plates. Thank you to all of the undocumented workers.
