Hairdressers and beauticians opened here in Italy. We wear masks and all brushes etc are sterilized (as Nirmal) No towels. They give you a “kit” which is a plastic Cape and paper towels. You rest your handbag on a plastic bag. It sounds complicated but all works well and without hassle. No trouble at all. They could have opened earlier. I am a mobile hairdresser and I am planning a safe return for Hairdresser never mind my hair I’m doing yours shirt and my clients, which will include. You cannot cut hair and stay 2 meters apart from the same as you cannot teach someone to drive there’s no difference if they do open up on Vogue it will be wrong and unfair to some other businesses. If the hairdresser and client have masks and maybe the hairdresser gloves and an apron is there much difference in that and a nurse attending to patients in the hospital?
Hairdresser never mind my hair I’m doing yours t-shirt, hoodie, sweater, ladies-tee, and tank tops
Nurses can’t social distance either. I can see how adults having hair cuts can work as both the hairdresser and the Hairdresser never mind my hair I’m doing yours shirt can practice safe distancing. However, I work for a children’s hair salon. We’re not sure how this will pan out! Especially since a LOT of children don’t like to have their hair cut! It will be difficult especially as we don’t wash hair first either! PPE can appear a little scary to small children so it will be interesting to see what happens. I’ve not had my hair colored since January so I can’t wait for them to open. Dentists are reopening next week & their contact is far closer to their client so they can’t see why hairdressers can’t reopen now as they will be wearing PPE & clients will wear masks too.
