she’s 94 and lives alone and I am undergoing chemotherapy. twice now I have visited her and I just pick up a big blanket, put it between us, and hug. we both cry every time. touching is a human thing. We have had no new cases for 3 days now. Life is virtually back to normal with a few restrictions on gatherings. No more than 100 in a restaurant etc. Pubs open next Thursday yay, the last thing to open. Actually, while we are extending our “bubbles” and reuniting families, and visiting friends, we are still social distancing and not hugging outside our bubble. Still disinfecting, still hand-washing, and sanitizing. Over 70s still being very cautious, especially those like us who have medical conditions like diabetes.
