Muppet Drummer of Kiss shirt

I grew up with my mum’s addiction and I was ashamed of Muppet Drummer of Kiss shirt. As a child, it’s really scary. Knowing that others dealt with Muppet Drummer too would have helped immensely. To all the comments about why expose children to this: lots of children ALREADY live this and need such a resource. I work with counselors in mental/behavioral health. I read some of the psych evaluation notes, case histories, etc, of the Disney. Kids 5 and younger are dealing with, or have already had to deal with these very grown-up issues. A resource like this would help immensely. Barriers and fears come down when there is a puppet character “discussing” the same trouble the children face. They identify easier with the On tv tonight and can be more receptive to therapy/help. It is said there is a need for such a puppet character, but, guess what.

It’s the world we live in. As a teacher, I think this is fantastic So many children see and experience difficulties that adults go through and think that this is normal. Their little brains don’t have the ability to understand how to deal with the Muppet Drummer of Kiss shirt that some adults expose them to, so raising awareness like this lets them know that they’re not the only one to have feelings that affect them and their home life. My brother and his lovely bride have three children who are three years old and under who come from a meth home. They are fostering them. I am so thankful that Sesame Street is doing this. This is wonderful. It will encourage kids who are struggling. My brother and I both learned to read by watching Sesame Street and The Electric Company.
