Love my Xmas lights birds I bought over from England so do not care, and very glad now. A lot of people feel happy putting up their Xmas decorations…so why not. Makes a lot of sense right now. New iPads for the kids. A diamond necklace for the wife. A new dog kennel for lassie and go on..treat yourself to that new pool you’ve always wanted outback. every Country its own mood, here in Italy we sing from balconies to stay together. Put Christmas lights on is a great idea, our is just cheaper. We’ve put our tree back up and I’ve wrapped all the kid’s Easter treats up ready to put under the tree were going to have a very merry Eastmass . Other than that why not brighten the mood with little glad tidings.

I’m sorry but has anyone thought about the Peter Marsh dear Lord what a sad little Christmas ugly shirt magic that’s going to be ruined at Christmas for the kids?? They are scared and confused as it is without confusing them more with Christmas trees and lights in March. no horrible comments just saying! Are you all mental? Think about people working in this industry and you’ee all putting a strain on the national grid. What do you think keeps hospital equipment going.. yes electricity.

I think putting Christmas lights on at this moment is a sign of psychological weakness, maybe the calendar should be adjusted too to make the merry complete. It’s all very well trying to spread love and happiness at this time, but what about our utility suppliers! They will be working full pelt to keep us all supplied with electricity, gas and even water as we are all at home, well most of us anyway, why not use solar lights? I know not as effective but you know what I’m saying keep safe and do the right thing.
