At the peak of service, the air conditioning broke down in the kitchen and the temperature. However, the TV crew now had great footage of Ramsey in full Raging Bull mode. Most people had no idea that this went on in the kitchen while they sat in comfort eating beautiful food. I’ve cooked for hundreds of celebrities, rock stars, and movie icons but one of them I have totally lost respect for when they reserved my restaurant for a party to wrap up filming of the movie, Tin Cup. The entire film crew and cast dined on seafood appetizers and over one thousand oysters on the half shell. The cast kept on apologizing for his behavior and they kept requesting my presence in the dining room but I was pretty much disgusted at that point. I don’t care how much money you have but when you come to my restaurant I expect you to carry yourself with dignity and good manners.
