Sometimes that boost of togetherness we get before the babies come helps us through the long and lonely nights and days to come. I feel for her and the loss of that sense of community. And to all the mamas out there having their babies during these unsure times, you got this . Oh dear, I’m pregnant with twins (due March) and my husband is a doctor who works with Covid patients. So we have to be apart and I keep waiting until my experience with him will begin, but I guess now after reading this, I have to accept – it won’t.

Things are how they are. There was no covid insight when we had our children. Yet, my husband missed all of those ante-natal things and even birth. Feeling ‘robbed’ in those circumstances is just counterproductive. You robbing yourself of a lot of joy if you take it that way.
