One of the best shows I have ever attended. Yes I am old but I saw Fleetwood Mac on stage signatures shirt It was recorded live over three nights. Both Eric Clapton and Joe Walsh were guests on Encore Jam. I miss those days. Peter was a great guitarist. Wonderful musician. Had the good fortune to see him live a few years ago. He could say more with a few notes than most of his contemporaries could in a half-hour solo. Will always remember seeing Fleetwood Mac in Nottingham around 50 years ago. They were a great live band. There would not have been Fleetwood Mac without him. Such a shame such talent was spoiled by drugs. But his legacy lives on. One of the greatest guitarists ever. All I knew of FM as a kid was the Rumours line-up. How amazing to discover their original line up was as good or better. He was my guitar hero. What a maestro. When I was 15 and Albatross was top of the charts I thought that his guitar playing was out of this world. I can’t believe he has gone. Another great leaves us. I’m going to have a few cans of beer now and listen to him play ‘Shake your moneymaker’.I absolutely loved his music way back in the day and have watched a few documentaries about him and the early days of Fleetwood Mac will be sadly missed.

I was at the Yes I am old but I saw Fleetwood Mac on stage signatures shirt first US tour of Fleetwood Mac and Savoy Brown at the Grandy ballroom in Detroit was such a great night they did another performance on Sunday was late for work on Monday before Stevie Nicks join the group the working-class Jewish boy from Bethnal Green, who played and sang the blues like no other, who inspired Santana and many others.
As a working-class, the son of immigrants, ethnic minority Londoner, I was always proud of him. Very sad to hear it. I saw the original Fleetwood Mac in 1968, and they were brilliant He wrote beautiful, thoughtful songs, but the best must have been “Man of the World.” Such a haunting song. He had so many good intentions, and very sad that his life became so difficult. His music will live on.
